• Cricket is played on the cricket ground. The cricket pitch is made in the middle of the cricket ground. It is a flate surface. The length of cricket pitch is 20.12 metters. There is very little grass on the pitch which affect the game. There are stumps on both side of cricket pitch.

• The place on the field where batting is done, that place is called Pitch. There are three stumps  on the either side of cricket pitch.The height of the stumps is 28 inches.                                                              
• In front of the pitch is the site screen.Sight Screen is a large screen that is placed on a cricket field directly behind both the wickets beyond.The sight screen is placed so that it is easier for the batsman to see the ball while batting.
